Valentines Day!!

Happy Valentines Day!  I love that we have a day set aside to let our loved ones know how much we love them.  I asked for flowers and a love letter.  Mike, as always, went above and beyond to get me what I asked.  He bought a special ink pen, and some letter sealing wax.  I love it!!

After church we went to have dinner with the Speeds.  The duck that we had been taking care of was all better now so we decided to let him go in the Salem Ponds.  There are ducks there all year around and we felt he would have a great life there.

He was so happy to be free and in some good swimming water.  He took one glance at the water and flock of ducks and just swam over to them joining the group like he had been there his whole life.   It really was cool to nurse that duck back to health and then release him somewhere he can have a good life.   Happy love day everybody!!
